Own Zalando’s global Sports social channel, setting its editorial voice, content strategy, planning, and execution. Build a consistent content engine across football, running, and broader sports; manage creative partners; translate brand partnerships into native storytelling; identify expansion opportunities; collaborate across social and brand teams; and use performance insights to drive channel growth.

Design and implement a greenfield Databricks Lakehouse for CRM data, integrating Salesforce, Redshift, and other sources. Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, Medallion architecture, ML infrastructure, reverse ETL, monitoring dashboards, and BI solutions. Provision Databricks and Unity Catalog with Terraform while enforcing GDPR, PII, governance, and security standards. Serve as technical design authority, mentor engineers, review code, and drive operational excellence.

Owns warehouse financial planning, reporting, forecasting, business cases, KPI definition, and performance monitoring across Zalando’s European fulfillment network. The role develops financial models, validates assumptions, guides logistics and finance stakeholders, delivers data-driven insights to senior management, and improves internal reporting tools. It requires strong analytical, financial, stakeholder management, communication, and project management skills.
