Install, assemble, maintain, troubleshoot and repair heavy industrial machinery (mills, turbines, conveyors, pumps). Perform precision leveling and alignment, fit bearings, rigging, welding, preventive lubrication, fabricate parts, operate lifting equipment, document work, follow safety procedures, and supervise/helpers as needed.

Install, assemble, maintain, troubleshoot, align and repair heavy industrial machinery (turbines, generators, conveyors, pumps) at a combined-cycle power plant. Read blueprints, use precision measuring and rigging tools, perform preventative maintenance, fabricate and machine parts, operate lathes/grinders, and assist/oversee helpers. Follow safety procedures and supervisor direction.

Perform maintenance on coal-fired boiler systems: remove/replace/repair piping, soot blowers, burners, dampers; troubleshoot equipment, fabricate and rig steel and pipe per drawings; operate lifting equipment and work at heights/confined spaces following safety procedures.
