The Automation Engineer supports industrial electrical and controls systems in a corrugated packaging plant. Responsibilities include troubleshooting PLCs, drives, conveyors, and automation equipment; designing and installing new equipment lines; modifying PLC programs; updating control schematics; addressing component obsolescence; enabling remote access; managing projects; testing spare equipment; and training maintenance personnel. The role is onsite, on-call, and may require additional hours, weekends, and work in challenging manufacturing conditions.
