Teams at Yonge Street Mission

Supports YSM’s annual Christmas Toy Market by coordinating toy donations, pickups, deliveries, inventory movement, event setup and teardown, schedules, volunteers, and stakeholder communications. Maintains records, spreadsheets, checklists, and logistics documentation while helping ensure safe, organized, accessible event operations. This is a six-week, part-time contract requiring flexibility, collaboration, physical handling of boxes, and commitment to YSM’s mission and Christian values.

Leads YSM’s People and Culture function, overseeing HR operations including recruitment, total rewards, performance management, learning and development, employee relations, wellness, compliance, safety, succession planning, organizational development, and change management. Develops HR strategy, policies, budgets, metrics, and employer branding while advising leaders on complex employee matters. Coaches the People and Culture team and ensures HR practices reflect YSM’s Christian mission, values, and DEI principles.
