Participates in structured training and supports industrial automation projects involving DCS, SCADA, ESD, and RTU systems. Assists with system configuration, graphics, cabinet design, wiring diagrams, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and start-up activities under supervision. Develops knowledge of process instrumentation and control systems, prepares technical reports, maintains project records, and follows customer HSE and quality procedures.

Train in process and operator training simulator engineering by reviewing customer process design data, configuring models, creating engineering documentation, and supporting factory acceptance testing and client walkthroughs. The role progresses toward ownership of subsystem configuration, scenario development, and malfunction development while building expertise in process control philosophy and simulator software.

Performs bill of materials checks, front-loading and IO card verification, wire sizing and color coding, and DCS standard function checks. Develops system configuration drawings, control room layouts, grounding schemes, channel base drawings, typical loop drawings, cabinet specifications, and panel bills of materials according to customer requirements.
