Teams at YMCA

Oversee afterschool program operations at an assigned school site: supervise staff and volunteers, ensure counselor-to-child ratios, implement curriculum and YMCA/school partnership standards, manage inventory and parent engagement, conduct trainings and evaluations, maintain safety and regulatory compliance, and serve as liaison to school administration.

Leads YMCA aquatics programs and staff, overseeing lifeguards, swim instructors, scheduling, pool safety, programming, budgets, payroll, purchasing, training, reporting, and community partnerships. The role maintains clean, safe, well-organized pool operations, develops employees and volunteers, supports hiring and onboarding, ensures YMCA standards are followed, and delivers positive member and participant experiences.

Supervise children in YMCA drop-in childcare programs, ensuring safety, appropriate staffing ratios, engaging activities, and compliance with childcare standards. Coordinate lesson plans, communicate with parents and staff, resolve issues, maintain supplies and cleaning checklists, and supervise staff when the Family Life Director is absent. The role also requires participation in meetings, training, abuse-prevention procedures, and mandated reporting.
