Teams at YMCA of Western North Carolina

Provides welcoming, high-quality member service at a YMCA facility; processes memberships and program registrations, conducts facility tours, answers questions, supports membership sales and outreach, trains representatives, manages schedules and events, tracks prospects, and serves as manager on duty when needed.

Leads the YMCA’s association-wide Healthy Living and wellness strategy, including program innovation, quality standards, participation, revenue, budgeting, KPIs, member retention, partnerships, and resource allocation. Oversees wellness staff development across multiple locations, drives consistent program execution, and evaluates initiatives using data, member feedback, and industry trends. The role also develops talent pipelines and positions the YMCA as a leading community health and wellness resource.

Coordinates daily out-of-school-time programming, supervises youth and staff, plans activities, maintains records, communicates with parents and community partners, ensures regulatory compliance, manages supplies and staffing, supports emergency response, and assists with budgeting and operational goals. The role also requires frequent engagement with children, families, schools, volunteers, and YMCA leadership.
