Directs aquatics operations, including hiring, scheduling, training, and developing lifeguards; ensuring pool safety, regulatory compliance, maintenance, and accurate chemical and certification records; conducting CPR, first aid, and lifeguard training; managing reservations, payroll, budgets, and daily rosters; and serving as building Director on Duty to enforce safety protocols and support members and staff.

Leads YMCA wellness and group exercise programming, including program design, budgeting, staff and volunteer supervision, recruitment, training, evaluation, member growth, community outreach, marketing coordination, reporting, and safety compliance. Supports Weight Loss for Life programming and promotes innovation, partnerships, and high-quality participant experiences.

Officiates youth, teen, and adult soccer and other sporting events while enforcing game rules, monitoring participant safety, inspecting equipment, managing conflicts, documenting incidents, and responding to emergencies. The referee must attend scheduled games punctually, communicate professionally with coaches, players, parents, and staff, follow YMCA policies and safety protocols, and work nights and weekends. The role requires moderate physical activity and successful completion of background, drug, motor vehicle, and reference checks.
