Welcomes members and guests, conducts tours and interviews for prospective members, sells memberships, resolves concerns, supports retention, maintains lobby organization, and builds positive relationships within the YMCA community.

Supports HR recruitment, hiring, onboarding, staff development, conflict resolution, employee record organization, and administrative projects. The intern gains practical experience in nonprofit HR operations while assisting with trainings, team-building activities, confidential documentation, and workplace communication.

Provides guidance, supervision, and sports instruction to children ages 3–10. Supports program setup, attendance tracking, documentation, equipment maintenance, facility preparation, curriculum delivery, and enforcement of sports rules. Ensures participant safety, communicates issues to supervisors, attends training and meetings, and assists with special events. The role requires strong communication, physical activity, and the ability to support children in a group setting.
