Teams at YMCA of Austin

Lead daily operations of an on-site afterschool and summer camp program, supervise and develop staff, ensure safety and compliance with Texas childcare licensing and YMCA policies, deliver curriculum and activities, partner with school staff and families, manage documentation, grants, and special initiatives, and represent the YMCA on campus.

Provide behavior support expertise across afterschool, summer camp, and early learning programs by developing behavior plans, coaching staff, training on trauma-informed and de-escalation practices, collaborating with families and schools, analyzing behavior data, and ensuring inclusive, safe environments that align with YMCA standards.

Provides strategic leadership for curriculum, instructional quality, SEL, and professional learning across afterschool, summer, early learning, and grant-funded programs. Leads curriculum strategy, quality assurance (YPQA, Summer Learning PQA), instructional coaching, data-driven improvement, budget management, and supervision of instructional staff to ensure aligned, high-quality youth development programming.
