Edit long-form Islamic research manuscripts by strengthening structure, arguments, clarity, tone, transitions, and accessibility while preserving author voice. Identify research gaps, weak evidence, repetition, and substantive errors; verify citations and engage Islamic scholarship. Collaborate with authors, scholars, peer reviewers, and copyediting teams through iterative revisions, managing assigned work to project timelines and organizational standards.

Serve as the operational HR partner across the organization, managing employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, performance cycles, benefits, compliance, HRIS workflows, documentation, and People metrics. Coach managers through employee matters, build repeatable processes, maintain systems in Rippling, ClickUp, and Confluence, and support a values-aligned workplace culture.

Manage end-to-end delivery of digital content products, primarily curriculum, across writers, designers, engineers, marketers, and subject matter experts. Responsibilities include project scheduling, Agile ceremonies, PI planning, CMS administration, content publishing, QA, cross-platform distribution, stakeholder communication, budget tracking, risk and dependency management, and post-launch optimization. The role ensures content is accurate, accessible, on time, and aligned with organizational goals.

Edit long- and short-form video content for YouTube and social platforms, adding motion graphics, captions, lower thirds, audio adjustments, color grading, and transitions. Organize assets and versions, collaborate with producers and designers, incorporate feedback, meet platform specifications, and deliver files in required formats and aspect ratios. The role also requires creative storytelling, quality assurance, deadline management, and submission of a video reel and editing sample.

Leads end-to-end delivery across nine concurrent media production workstreams, managing schedules, task tracking, vendors, budgets, reporting, risks, dependencies, and cross-functional handoffs. The role coordinates creative, technical, marketing, scholarly, and external production teams while maintaining production workflows and documentation. It also builds the studio’s reusable production playbook, improves operational processes, and supports timely launches across weekly programming, limited series, and short-form content.

Build and manage Yaqeen Institute’s fundraising presence across Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore. Responsibilities include developing major donor pipelines, stewarding high-value relationships, executing donor engagement events, coordinating Ramadan and Dhul Hijjah campaigns, pursuing institutional grants, developing planned giving and waqf opportunities, tracking fundraising KPIs, maintaining CRM accuracy, and ensuring local regulatory and Shariah compliance.

Build and lead Yaqeen Institute’s People function, including employment strategy, policies, compliance, HR systems, automation, recruiting, onboarding, performance, compensation, development, employee relations, and offboarding. Advise executive leadership on organizational design and growth, lead change management, develop manager capability, and operationalize the organization’s faith-centered culture. This hands-on player-coach role will establish scalable people systems and eventually build a supporting team.

Supports video production from pre-production through delivery by coordinating guests, schedules, crews, shot lists, and call sheets. Sets up and troubleshoots camera, lighting, and audio equipment during filming. Edits long-form videos and short-form clips for digital and social platforms, ensuring brand consistency, quality, captions, and on-time delivery.
