Own PCBA acceptance, validation, and functional testing from receiving through production release. Define digital inspection procedures, qualify test fixtures and instrumentation, manage nonconformances and supplier corrective actions, validate measurement systems, analyze quality and yield data, support DFM improvements, and mentor manufacturing personnel. The role partners with quality, supply chain, electrical design, systems engineering, contract manufacturers, technicians, and suppliers to establish reliable flight-hardware production processes.

Own and scale AWS, on-premises, and Kubernetes infrastructure supporting Xona’s satellite navigation platform. Build observability systems with OpenTelemetry, automate delivery and infrastructure through IaC and GitOps, improve reliability and cost efficiency, and establish Kubernetes deployment standards. Partner closely with software teams to enable autonomous deployments, enforce security and performance practices, and design scalable, highly available infrastructure for a growing global service.

Develop and integrate desktop applications for satellite receivers and application code for satellite subsystem components. The role involves embedded development, software architecture, hardware communication protocols, Qt-based GUI development, prototyping, hands-on testing, Bash scripting, RTOS, and control or motor-control systems. The engineer will work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment on mission-critical satellite navigation technology.
