Teams at Xanadu

Lead bottom-up cost modeling, clean-sheet analysis, design-to-cost, and value engineering for photonic quantum computing hardware. Partner with hardware design, manufacturing, foundry, EMS, and sourcing teams to assess material, labor, overhead, process, and yield costs. Evaluate supplier quotes, support negotiations, identify cost-reduction opportunities, and track target costs through design revisions using costing software and analytical models.

Own the roadmap, execution, developer experience, adoption, technical direction, and go-to-market strategy for PennyLane, Xanadu’s open-source quantum computing software framework. Partner with engineering, research, and product leadership to sequence work, manage releases, measure engagement, grow the developer community, and align APIs and integrations. Lead phased rollouts, provide leadership reporting, and hire and coach product managers.

Provides front-line IT support, troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and user-access issues. Sets up servers, computers, peripherals, accounts, and audiovisual equipment; supports onboarding and offboarding; maintains documentation, inventories, and permissions; assists with application testing and incident response. The role also includes occasional off-hours work, on-call rotation, and weekend support.
