Teams at Xanadu

Lead assembly, integration, and validation of photonic quantum source modules; characterize squeezed and non-classical states, measure losses and filter performance; develop control and stabilization strategies for integrated optics; collaborate with PIC, electrical, mechanical, and systems teams; provide measurement-driven feedback to design teams and produce integration documentation and operational procedures.

Develop and optimize fabrication processes for integrated photonic devices (especially thin‑film lithium niobate). Own wafer lots with foundry partners, design and run process improvement experiments, perform metrology and failure analysis, collaborate across process and design teams, and implement new fabrication learnings to improve device performance.

Define and flow down engineering requirements from high-level designs, document and manage requirement changes, maintain system architecture and interfaces, identify tools/process improvements, and coach teams on systems engineering practices for complex hardware/firmware/software products.
