Leads systems engineering for complex DoD and intelligence-community hardware and software systems. Responsibilities include requirements development and traceability, system architecture, SOA and DoDAF implementation, interface and configuration management, risk and verification planning, integration and testing, certification and accreditation support, network security hardening, troubleshooting, network design, and technical documentation. The role also provides technical direction, evaluates design alternatives, manages system baselines, and supports program reviews and control boards.

Manages configuration baselines, version control, change control, audits, and configuration management processes across developmental and operational systems. Maintains build, staging, testing, and integration environments; develops configuration management plans, procedures, and build scripts; and supports the Government Change Control Board. Requires TS/SCI clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph and six years of configuration management experience.

Develops and sustains cloud software for federal government customers, including requirements analysis, design, integration, testing, validation, enhancement, and issue resolution. The role focuses on AWS architecture, Java-based distributed systems, Hadoop and big-data technologies, RESTful services, Linux, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and AI/ML integrations such as LLMs and RAG. Candidates must produce technical documentation, hold or obtain an approved cloud developer certification, and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph.
