Develops, maintains, and troubleshoots laboratory automation workflows for high-throughput screening and assay execution. Programs automation, scheduling, and instrument software using C# and Python; integrates third-party instruments; supports LIMS connectivity and data flow; and improves robotic scheduling and workflow reliability. The role also evaluates new technologies, repairs equipment, coordinates vendors, and transfers assay protocols onto automated platforms.

Leads business development for small-molecule drug product, API, and intermediate development and manufacturing services. Manages key accounts, develops new business, achieves sales targets, expands account penetration, coordinates with marketing, project management, technical, and operations teams, and provides competitive intelligence. The role requires technical knowledge of pharmaceutical development, long sales-cycle selling experience, account strategy, and strong communication skills.

Manages API and drug product development and manufacturing projects from proposal through completion. Leads planning, timelines, budgets, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, client relationships, project meetings, and deliverables. Supports business development through client visits, conferences, proposals, and change orders. Requires pharmaceutical or CRO/CMO experience, CMC process development or GMP manufacturing knowledge, strong project management skills, and English and Mandarin proficiency. This is a remote U.S. role with approximately 25% travel.
