Provide hospitality support across events including serving food and drinks, clearing, setting up and tidying event spaces, operating licensed bars and coffee machines, assisting with stock, deliveries and linen, and delivering professional guest service in a fast-paced university events environment.

Greet and manage visitors as the front-of-house ambassador, handle incoming calls, book meeting rooms, support events, perform administrative tasks, maintain security focus, resolve queries, and work independently as the sole on-site Portico team member while liaising with the wider team.

Supervise, train, and schedule catering staff in a private hospital; ensure food quality, service standards, inventory control, logistics for events, and client-focused customer service. Manage reporting and financial aspects and resolve service issues.
