Develop and maintain enterprise Java applications using Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and React or Angular. Build responsive frontends, integrate third-party services, optimize relational database performance, and support cloud deployment. Collaborate with development, testing, and DevOps teams on code reviews, debugging, production support, and Agile delivery. This hybrid W2 contract requires onsite work three days weekly in Bridgewater, NJ, Irving, TX, or Miami, FL.

Designs, develops, integrates, and deploys production-ready software solutions for Cognizant’s end clients. Responsibilities include backend engineering, cloud development, REST APIs, microservices, data pipelines, distributed systems, Docker, Kubernetes, and client-facing technical problem solving. The engineer independently manages solutions from development through deployment and collaborates with clients to address complex business challenges.

Enhance and support the OPUS enterprise application through full-stack development, solution architecture, database optimization, DevOps automation, reporting integrations, production support, and server migration leadership. The role uses React, Node.js, .NET, SQL Server, IIS, Power BI, SSAS, CI/CD, and automated testing while collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams to improve application performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
