Drives freight forwarding sales through lead generation, prospecting, account expansion, quote preparation, rate coordination, deal negotiation, and CRM pipeline management. Supports business development representatives, researches target accounts, schedules qualified meetings, follows up on proposals, and coordinates handoffs to operations and customer service. The role also tracks sales metrics, prepares RFQs and tenders, and reports market and competitor pricing insights.

Processes customer and carrier freight billing, reviews supporting documentation, audits freight bills against tariffs and contracts, investigates billing errors and duplicates, prepares corrections, performs reporting, and supports profit-and-loss, forecasting, and account analysis.
