Teams at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution

Lead lab and field research on ocean sensing, whale detection systems, DMS trace-gas campaigns, and biologging instrument development. Manage lab operations, plan field seasons, deploy and maintain sensors, perform data analysis (Python/C/C++), contribute to publications, and coordinate with collaborators and regulatory stakeholders. Frequent regional and international travel and sea duty required.

Manage post-award administration for a portfolio of PIs: ensure compliance with federal and non-federal awards (FAR, DFARS, OMB Uniform Guidance), monitor finances, reconcile expenses, set up and oversee subrecipient agreements, coordinate with Grants and Contracts Services and finance, and support reporting, closeouts, and regulatory updates.

Manage pre-award activities for a portfolio of PIs: review solicitations, prepare and submit grants/contracts, develop compliant budgets/justifications, initiate electronic applications, ensure proposal compliance, and liaise with sponsors and internal stakeholders for smooth award transitions.
