Manage financial accounting activities including journals, balance sheet controls and reconciliations; prepare internal and external reports, statutory accounts and audit support; provide management and board reporting with variance analysis; support tax and compliance activities; identify process improvements and drive automation to enhance reporting efficiency.

Lead Fleet category strategy and procurements, manage supplier performance and contracts, ensure compliance with UK law and PA23 regulations, drive procurement governance and stakeholder engagement, support sustainability and group sourcing to secure commercial and operational value for WM Trains.

Lead station teams across the West Midlands, driving operational performance, safety compliance, customer experience improvements, commercial revenue protection, stakeholder engagement, union relations, budget and P&L oversight, and delivery of projects and special event management.
