Investigate and mitigate fraud, chargebacks, and financial crime by reviewing transaction alerts, monitoring real-time activity, analyzing customer and transaction patterns, and identifying emerging fraud typologies. The role includes configuring and testing fraud rules, preparing Suspicious Activity Reports, reporting fraud KPIs, recommending risk-reduction improvements, and supporting operational efficiency projects within a fintech environment.

Owns the functional scope of a backend card-processing service. Gathers requirements, writes system specifications, analyzes banking and payment-provider API documentation, defines integration logic, configures system settings, investigates issues, and coordinates changes across microservices and client applications. Requires strong expertise in card payments, Visa and Mastercard standards, ISO protocols, reconciliation, transaction processing, and payment integrations.

Lead the enterprise risk management framework for a MiCA-regulated crypto-asset services provider. Responsibilities include developing risk appetite, KRIs, registers, reporting, and governance; overseeing regulatory, financial crime, operational, technology, outsourcing, and resilience risks; supporting CySEC engagements and licensing; and advising senior management and the Board. The role also promotes risk culture, challenges controls, manages incidents, and drives remediation across the organization.
