Leads plant quality assurance, food safety, and regulatory compliance programs in a 24/7 food manufacturing facility. Performs food quality inspections, environmental swabbing, sensory and analytical testing, label verification, microbiological testing, and equipment checks. Maintains compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA, and company standards. Records quality results and inventory transactions in SAP, supports audits, investigates quality issues and complaints, assists with SOP training, and contributes to process improvement and 5S initiatives. The role requires collaboration with production and sanitation teams and the ability to work rotating weekends and physically demanding manufacturing shifts.

The Plant Manager leads overall manufacturing operations, budgets, safety, quality, food safety, productivity, cost control, equipment reliability, and employee engagement. Responsibilities include coaching plant personnel, executing operational and capital strategies, driving Lean continuous improvement, monitoring OEE and process performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, coordinating with suppliers and internal functions, and improving production outcomes. The role oversees non-union employees in a food manufacturing environment and may require periodic travel to other sites.
