Support the lead swimming teacher to ensure safety and enjoyment during swimming sessions. Provide supervision for children and vulnerable adults, communicate with participants and colleagues, follow safeguarding procedures, and maintain professional development as required.

Support pupils' learning in groups and 1:1, promote inclusion, self-esteem and positive behaviour; provide physical/personal care where needed; assist teachers with literacy and maths delivery; maintain classroom resources and equipment; help ensure hygiene and administer minor first aid under guidance.

Lead and supervise a safeguarding team to support families, prevent breakdowns, and deliver the five Every Child Matters outcomes. Work with the Team Manager to manage staff, oversee practice, ensure safeguarding, and promote positive outcomes through training, development and family-focused interventions.
