Provides technical leadership for industrial automation projects, developing and programming PLC and Safety PLC systems from design through testing, commissioning, and handover. Responsibilities include configuring hardware and industrial networks, integrating SCADA/HMI systems, preparing control drawings and documentation, conducting FAT/SAT, troubleshooting onsite, coordinating with clients and vendors, and mentoring junior staff.

Leads hands-on PLC and safety control system engineering across design, programming, configuration, testing, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and handover. Develops control logic, drawings, specifications, documentation, and industrial network configurations while integrating SCADA/HMI systems. Troubleshoots field issues, coordinates with clients and vendors, ensures compliance with project and quality requirements, and mentors junior technical staff.

Drive new business growth across the North American passenger rail and transit market. Identify and qualify opportunities, develop strategic account plans, build executive and technical relationships, influence project specifications, and lead complex pursuits through proposal and contract closeout. The role requires market intelligence, consultative selling, cross-functional collaboration, customer presentations, and industry representation, with approximately 50% travel.
