Designs and develops accessible, inclusive digital learning experiences for Wikimedia contributors worldwide. Partners with product teams, researchers, communities, and subject matter experts to identify learning needs, prototype solutions, and improve courses, multimedia, AI-enabled support, workshops, and embedded guidance. Uses learning science, user-centered design, analytics, feedback, and experimentation to strengthen participation and evolve the Foundation’s learning strategy.

Four-month, fully remote software engineering internship embedded within Wikimedia Foundation engineering teams. Interns complete a primary project with defined deliverables while learning through mentorship and hands-on work across mobile applications, editing tools, data platforms, release engineering, cloud infrastructure, observability, and contributor connection systems. The program requires 40 hours per week, independent problem-solving, collaborative communication, and foundational programming, database, scripting, and potentially SQL, Linux, networking, operating systems, or distributed-systems knowledge.

Lead financial business partnering for Product and Technology, advising executives on investment tradeoffs, budgets, forecasts, CAPEX, headcount, vendor spend, and technical accounting. The role includes financial modeling, reporting, variance analysis, dashboard development, executive presentations, analyst mentorship, and process improvement across a $100M-plus technology budget.
