Teams at Whippany Actuation Systems

Designs and develops aerospace electromechanical actuator components and assemblies from concept through detailed design. Performs gear, bearing, fatigue, FEA, and other stress analyses; optimizes designs for manufacturing and assembly; and supports manufacturing, tooling, testing, and aftermarket needs. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and customers, applies aerospace materials and processes, mentors junior engineers, manages development schedules, and communicates technical information.

Develops and maintains aerospace quality systems ensuring products meet customer, regulatory, and FAA requirements. Responsibilities include engineering change reviews, NPI support, root cause analysis, CAPA, FAIs, supplier audits, MRB dispositions, inspection planning, audit documentation, quality metrics, and corrective action leadership. The role collaborates cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, suppliers, and customers while supporting repair station compliance and continuous improvement.
