Maintains financial records, prepares reports and statements, performs general ledger entries and reconciliations, processes accounts payable and receivable, supports budgeting, audits, and financial analysis, ensures GAAP compliance, and recommends process improvements. The role requires accurate, confidential handling of financial information and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Provides strategic leadership for university fundraising and advancement programs, including major, planned, and annual gifts; capital campaign planning; donor, alumni, and stakeholder cultivation; planned giving; advancement events; donor recognition; budgeting; and fundraising policy development. Partners with the University President, senior leadership, and Board of Directors to establish goals, increase philanthropic support, and strengthen long-term financial sustainability.

The Chief Financial Officer provides strategic leadership over the university’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, reporting, audits, treasury, cash management, payroll, purchasing, controls, compliance, risk management, and financial systems. The CFO advises the President and Board of Trustees, oversees financial teams, supports institutional planning and capital investments, manages external financial relationships, and promotes sound stewardship of university resources.
