Manage individual tax engagements for public accounting clients, maintain direct client relationships, oversee projects and deadlines, and mentor senior and staff accountants. The role requires extensive individual tax experience, CPA or EA licensure, public accounting firm experience, and strong technical and client-service skills. Estate and trust experience is advantageous. The position offers remote or San Jose-based work with benefits and flexible scheduling.

Provides recurring accounting and bookkeeping services for assigned clients, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, payroll and tax filings, month-end reconciliations, fixed-asset schedules, and financial deliverables. The role manages multiple client priorities, works across accounting systems, resolves accounting issues, and collaborates with team members while meeting deadlines.

Winter accounting internship from January 26 through April 15, 2027. Interns will support tax returns, reviews, compilations, bookkeeping, and trust accounting while gaining experience at a public accounting firm. Candidates should be pursuing an accounting or taxation degree, maintain a 3.0 GPA, plan to complete the 150 semester units required for the CPA exam, and demonstrate strong work ethic and drive to learn.
