Leads complex workplace relations, employment, enterprise bargaining, dispute resolution, investigations, misconduct, performance, and workplace conflict matters across the University. Advises senior leaders, represents the employer in negotiations and proceedings, maintains union relationships, interprets industrial instruments, develops workplace policies, and identifies industrial risks through workplace trend analysis.

Coordinate digital manufacturing projects and systems supporting applied research, industry partnerships, training, and technology demonstrations. Operate, maintain, and improve digital twins, simulation, additive manufacturing, automation, sensing, and data-driven production technologies. Provide technical advice on capability, roadmaps, and investment priorities; support partner trials and solution development; ensure safe and compliant operations; and contribute to Industry 4.0 and 5.0 workshops and credentials.

Support accurate, compliant payroll operations through validation checks, reconciliations, variance analysis, compliance reporting, superannuation and tax processing, audit support, documentation, and governance improvements. The role interprets enterprise agreements and payroll legislation, processes complex terminations and backpays, maintains employee master data and pay-code controls, advises People Operations staff, and supports internal and external audits.
