Develops and executes strategic content and communications for WGU’s external audiences and channels. Responsibilities include managing blogs and newsletters, writing and editing content, supporting thought leadership, distributing content across owned, earned, and social channels, editing press materials, creating AI-assisted editorial processes, optimizing content for search and generative platforms, and analyzing channel performance. The role also supports major publications and collaborates across communications teams.

The Senior Data Analyst partners with university stakeholders to answer complex business questions, develop dashboards and business intelligence solutions, analyze and improve data quality, support data pipelines and governance, and communicate insights through visualizations and recommendations. The role requires advanced SQL, Python or R, BI reporting expertise, and the ability to guide strategic decisions. It is full-time and in-office in Salt Lake City, with occasional travel up to 20%.

Analyzes search and website performance, conducts keyword and competitor research, optimizes content and metadata, executes link-building and technical SEO strategies, monitors rankings and KPIs, and creates analytics reports. The role also supports content creation, identifies website gaps, tracks algorithm changes, and collaborates with content teams to improve organic traffic and search performance.
