Lead strategic sputtering equipment engineering across manufacturing: drive reliability, predictive maintenance, equipment upgrades, automation/robotics integration, root-cause analysis, supplier/OEM engagements, and mentor engineering teams to improve OEE and production ramp readiness.

Design, develop, and maintain control systems and automation for manufacturing. Troubleshoot PLC/HMI/SCADA, sensors, drives, and instrumentation; optimize machine performance and OEE; lead root cause analysis and corrective actions; support equipment installation, commissioning, validation, and documentation; coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence.

Lead development, optimization, and sustaining of HDD manufacturing processes: design experiments, qualify chemicals/materials, maintain SPC and QMS documentation, drive yield and cost improvements, support NPI and technology transfer, and mentor Penang process engineers.
