Teams at Westchester School for Special Children

Provides behavioral support services for students with disabilities and emotional or behavioral needs. Responsibilities include crisis assessment and de-escalation, behavior evaluations, Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans, participation in IEP and special education meetings, collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams, monitoring student changes, staff training, and maintaining a safe learning environment.
