Westamerica Bank Benefits Overview

Provides help desk support to bank branch personnel regarding financial products, account-opening policies, SalesLogix, Lotus Notes, and Safebox. Reviews legal documentation for non-personal accounts and guides branch staff through account openings. Requires strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, organization, deadline management, and basic PC and software knowledge. Prior work experience is required, preferably in a financial institution.

Provide administrative support to Regional Service and Marketing Managers by preparing reports, handling inquiries and complaints, assisting with budgets, managing schedules and calendars, documenting meetings, coordinating travel and hotel reservations, and supporting special projects.

Lead and supervise Risk and Underwriting teams to ensure merchant due diligence, adherence to policy and card brand guidelines, and loss prevention. Handle complex escalations, hire/train and manage staff, maintain programs to minimize losses, coordinate with sales/operations for funds/authorization approvals, troubleshoot production systems, and support special projects.
