Camp Support Staff prepare Camp Chickami for the summer season through custodial care, housekeeping, sanitation, groundskeeping, landscaping, painting, facility organization, inventory, and equipment maintenance. The role identifies and addresses safety hazards, properly stores toxic materials, communicates maintenance issues, completes work orders, follows emergency procedures and camp policies, and supports YMCA values and inclusive community practices. Employment runs from May 11 through June 29, 2026, averaging eight hours weekly.

Supports summer day camp programming for youth through traditional games, sports, arts and crafts, swimming, hiking, nature activities, exploration, and camp-wide events. Counselors lead activities, model YMCA values, prioritize member service, and help create a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment for children and families.

Support and coordinate the Leaders in Training program at Camp Pikati during the 2026 summer season. Help deliver youth-focused camp activities, promote a welcoming and inclusive environment, support member needs, and contribute to the YMCA’s goals of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
