Leads Wellmark’s complex provider network contracting strategy, negotiations, network development, payment models, and performance optimization across commercial and government programs. Manages financial and human resources, coaches leaders, develops strategic plans, interprets claims and network analytics, and partners with internal and external stakeholders to improve affordability, quality, risk management, and sustainability. Serves as a subject matter expert on provider contracts, fee-for-service arrangements, value-based payments, and network strategy.

Manages relationships with healthcare organizations and providers to improve quality, efficiency, access, compliance, and total cost of care. Analyzes healthcare performance data, develops action plans, presents results to executives, negotiates and implements value-based contracts, and supports evolving network payment models. Coordinates strategic initiatives, facilitates management committees, advises internal teams, and serves as a liaison on value-based contracting matters.

Prepares and analyzes financial statements, management reports, forecasts, allocations, journal entries, reconciliations, and regulatory filings. Researches GAAP, SAP, NAIC, and CMS requirements; supports audits, internal controls, and regulatory exams. Communicates financial results and variance analyses to leadership, advises business partners, models impacts of business changes, and represents Finance on cross-functional projects.
