Leads high-value strategic partnerships with philanthropies, multilateral agencies, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders to advance Wellcome’s global health and mental health priorities. The role develops partnership strategies, manages an international portfolio, builds coalitions, aligns funding and influence, monitors impact, manages risk, and coaches colleagues. Strong experience in philanthropy, global or mental health, stakeholder engagement, thought leadership, and senior-level relationship management is required.

Leads the planning, production, commissioning, publishing, and optimisation of digital content and campaigns across social and other channels. Translates complex science, research, and policy topics into accessible storytelling; manages creative suppliers and partners; develops distribution and engagement strategies; and uses audience insights and performance data to improve impact. The role also champions digital content, social media, accessibility, and storytelling best practices across Wellcome.

Leads strategy content, capability development, strategy integration, and impact measurement across Wellcome. Embeds organizational strategy across departments, supports complex strategic projects, and ensures strategic coherence. Advises senior leadership, manages senior professionals, and leads high-performing teams within global health and health research contexts, particularly across complex international and low- and middle-income country environments.
