Source, evaluate and progress translational opportunities from Sanger science into commercial partnerships, manage IP strategy and licensing, perform due diligence, negotiate deals, build relationships with academic and industry stakeholders, and manage a portfolio of projects from opportunity assessment through to deal completion to maximize societal impact.

Lead identification, negotiation and management of translational partnerships with industry and consortia. Support faculty engagement, structure deals and post-deal management, secure funding, and protect institute interests while maximising impact.

Coordinate and accelerate sharing, curation and ingestion of genetics and genomics datasets across partners. Define metadata and standards, track datasets from generation to platform ingestion, build processes and stakeholder relationships, and ensure governance, quality and timely delivery.
