Maintains the store’s CGO system, investigates inventory and out-of-stock issues, creates departmental pick lists, reviews reports, supports planogram and display accuracy, and coordinates with store departments. Provides customer service, assists with issue resolution, ensures records and inventory balances are accurate, and follows sanitation, safety, security, and company policies. May indirectly supervise department associates and assist in other store departments.

Greets customers, answers questions, resolves concerns, operates checkout scanning equipment and cash registers, processes payments and coupons, bags merchandise, maintains cash accuracy, follows tobacco and alcohol policies, cleans and sanitizes the department, complies with safety requirements, and assists other store departments as needed.

Coordinates front-end store operations by directing customer flow, managing checkout availability, supporting cashiers, handling customer questions and concerns, processing transactions, maintaining cash accuracy, enforcing security procedures, and assisting with associate training. The role also supports customer service calls, follows promotional and regulatory guidelines, maintains sanitation and safety standards, and helps ensure efficient, courteous service throughout the department.
