Produce daily multimedia stories: pitch ideas, cultivate sources, shoot and edit video, write web articles, deliver live reports, use social media for reporting, and follow newsroom standards.

Produce accurate, engaging local news reports across TV and digital platforms. Collaborate with photojournalists, develop and pitch community-focused stories, create social media content, and deliver polished written and edited storytelling. Maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a professional demo reel.

Lead and motivate the sales team to grow market share and revenue through new-business development, strategic sales and pricing, inventory management, accurate revenue forecasting, recruiting and developing sales talent, and hands-on execution to meet budget goals.

The Account Executive will develop marketing solutions, sell broadcast and digital media advertising, and cultivate client relationships.

Lead affiliate and external media marketing strategy to drive network and program awareness. Build and maintain TV affiliate and partner relationships, oversee outside media buying and negotiation, manage promotions and event activations, mentor marketing staff, collaborate with press/publicity, evaluate campaign results, and present strategic solutions to stakeholders.

Direct live newscasts using Grass Valley Ignite; operate switcher, audio, cameras, graphics, teleprompter and studio systems; code newscasts in iNews; design graphics with Adobe CC; supervise lighting and set setup; edit video, perform videography, and collaborate with producers, anchors, and reporters to improve presentation.
