Own end-to-end product execution for products transforming mechanical and manufacturing workflows. Conduct customer discovery, define requirements and prototypes, collaborate with engineering teams, and drive delivery, QA, release management, and iteration. Build expertise in CAD, mechanical design, engineering drawings, manufacturing, and industrial workflows. Define acceptance criteria and evaluations, including for AI features, while solving ambiguous technical problems in an early-stage startup environment.

Develop and maintain CAD automation software using C++ and C#, integrating SolidWorks, Creo, NX, CATIA, and other CAD platforms. Manage Windows-based processes, COM/RPC interactions, services, memory, crashes, and recovery workflows. Implement STEP and JSON exports, geometry processing, file conversion, cross-CAD abstraction layers, and 3D visualization improvements. Troubleshoot multi-version compatibility and complex CAD APIs while contributing to architecture, testing, reviews, and continuous improvement.

Supports body-in-white design engineering projects by interpreting requirements, developing technical solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, documenting deliverables, participating in design reviews and validation, troubleshooting issues, and meeting quality and project timelines. The role requires strong technical fundamentals, analytical problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, organization, adaptability, and ownership in a fast-paced engineering environment.
