The Principal Strategist leads complex client engagements, owns strategy and deliverable quality, manages strategic backlogs, and resolves escalations. This player-coach manages and develops strategists through feedback, coaching, workload balancing, and performance conversations. The role aligns strategy, project management, design, and development teams around client goals while piloting frameworks and improving the agency’s methodology. Success includes client-ready work, healthy account backlogs, strategist growth, and account renewals or expansion.

Provides organization-wide technical leadership for enterprise web architecture and delivery. The role establishes engineering standards, guides complex client engagements, oversees architecture and technical risk, improves estimation and delivery practices, develops reusable frameworks and tooling, evaluates emerging technologies and AI-assisted workflows, and mentors engineering leaders. The Technical Director partners across Engineering, Design, Strategy, Program Management, Operations, and Account Leadership to raise technical quality, consistency, scalability, performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
