Leads innovation and technology strategy for Weaver’s Audit practice. Partners with Assurance leadership to identify high-value opportunities, evaluate emerging technologies, and recommend build, buy, or partnership investments. The role drives technology-enabled improvement and transformation while requiring extensive public accounting experience, CPA credentials, relationship management, practice development, and familiarity with AI, automation, analytics, low-code/no-code platforms, and audit technologies.

Accounting Advisory Services Interns assist with outsourced accounting assignments for multiple clients, gaining exposure to financial statement sections and hands-on client work. The internship runs January through April for 20–40 hours per week and may involve travel to client sites. Candidates should pursue an accounting-related bachelor’s or master’s degree, intend to meet CPA exam education requirements, and have familiarity with Microsoft Office, strong communication skills, and a positive growth mindset.

Performs financial statement audit procedures for investment funds, including hedge funds, private equity funds, and venture capital funds. Prepares workpapers and financial statements, identifies and resolves audit issues with senior team members, manages concurrent assignments, and develops professionally through training and feedback.
