Responsibilities include GPU scheduling, autoscaling, networking across unreliable home connections, secure device identity and communication, database operations, monitoring, SLOs, deployments, and incident response.

Design intuitive, polished digital experiences across Weave’s website, mobile apps, business tools, and autonomous robots. Responsibilities include establishing scalable design systems, shaping interaction paradigms, prototyping and iterating concepts, and collaborating with industrial design, robotics, software engineering, and operations teams. The role requires strong UX, interaction design, information architecture, visual design, and usability expertise, with emphasis on consumer software and physical-world robotics experiences.

Manage day-to-day production floor operations for robot assembly: plan weekly builds, staff and train machinists and technicians, enforce work instructions and quality controls, track production metrics, manage inventory, and feed manufacturing insights back to engineering to improve manufacturability and reliability.

Owns daily workplace and office operations, maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment. Coordinates deliveries, security, janitorial services, catering, pantry supplies, repairs, maintenance, vendors, office moves, furniture, conference rooms, onboarding support, and equipment setup. Partners with HR, IT, Finance, leadership, and other teams while supporting office events and process improvements.

Build and deploy vertically integrated robotic systems across hardware and software. Responsibilities include integrating sensors, troubleshooting cross-stack issues, bringing new robots from first power-on through deployment, configuring customer-specific workflows, validating robots at customer sites, and creating runbooks and tooling. The role requires hands-on experience with robotic or electromechanical systems, hardware and software debugging, and deployment or integration at customer locations.

Architect and build terabyte-scale robotics data pipelines from fleet sensor streams through training ingestion. Curate, preprocess, annotate, version, and validate datasets; analyze data coverage, drift, redundancy, and quality; mine scenarios using embeddings and models; and develop samplers, benchmarks, and evaluation datasets. Partner with ML researchers to diagnose model failures and create targeted data mixtures and processing workflows that improve robot-learning performance.

Build and optimize end-to-end machine learning training infrastructure for large-scale multimodal robot data. Responsibilities include distributed training, data ingestion and transformation, checkpointing, orchestration, experiment tracking, sampling and curation, performance profiling, debugging data and training issues, and converting research prototypes into production infrastructure. The role may also involve robot learning, cloud and cluster infrastructure, post-training, on-robot inference optimization, CUDA or Triton kernels, and video-heavy datasets.

Conduct independent robot-learning research from hypothesis through data, model training, deployment, and evaluation. Establish long-term research direction, experiment with novel architectures and post-training methods, develop data strategies, deploy models on physical robots, define real-world metrics, and build scalable machine-learning infrastructure for research and production.

Lead Weave’s brand narrative, positioning, communications, media relations, product launches, content pipeline, and creative production for home robotics. Partner with founders and cross-functional teams to translate sophisticated technical work into compelling messaging, support recruiting efforts, and build a communications function. The role requires strong strategic writing, technical fluency, launch leadership, and experience marketing at a high-growth technology company or startup.

Design and validate power systems for home robotics, including battery management, power distribution, DC/DC conversion, charging, protection circuitry, and custom PCB development. Lead schematic and layout reviews, hardware bring-up, automated validation, efficiency and thermal optimization, EMI/EMC improvements, component selection, and production hardware support. Collaborate with embedded, controls, mechanical, robotics, and manufacturing teams to deliver reliable, safe, production-ready robot electronics.

Design and ship production-grade visual SLAM and localization for indoor robots by fusing cameras, IMUs, odometry and other sensors. Build sensor calibration, synchronization, and perception infrastructure; optimize for robustness, latency, and power. Investigate learned methods, debug failures on real robots, and integrate research into production systems.

Program, set up, prove out, inspect, and produce prototype and production parts on CNC mills using aluminum, steel, and engineering plastics. Manage CAM workflows, tooling, workholding, GD&T-based inspection, 3D printing, shop maintenance, inventory, and fabrication standards. Provide engineers with design-for-manufacturing feedback and help improve shop equipment and processes. Support frequent changeovers and small-batch production in a fast-paced robotics prototype environment.
