Provide administrative support to the newsroom and Editorial Operations Manager, including budget administration, expense and payment processing, contracts for freelancers, onboarding/offboarding, managing subscriptions and shared resources, coordinating conferences, trainings, internships, and supporting staff development and communications.

Lead daily news coverage across broadcast, digital, podcasts and print; plan assignments, edit audio and text, report as needed, set coverage priorities, and train staff to maintain editorial standards.

Manage Chicago Public Media's midlevel leadership giving program, supervise and mentor Leadership Giving Officer(s), cultivate and solicit donors, oversee donor engagement and stewardship strategies, track solicitation and database activity, coordinate with membership team, and support events and fundraising pipeline development.
