The Associate Director will oversee investment risk for real asset portfolios, including property, infrastructure, private debt, and private equity. Responsibilities include challenging delegated investment managers, monitoring liquidity, valuation, leverage, concentration, and regulatory risks, reviewing valuation methodologies, supporting governance and regulatory reporting, conducting manager due diligence, and contributing to product launches and risk framework enhancements. The role also provides technical guidance to junior team members and presents findings to boards, committees, clients, and service providers.

Supports the enhancement and oversight of the Group’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework. Leads risk-system optimisation, business requirements, solution design, testing, automation, Power BI dashboards, risk data quality, reporting, thematic reviews, and second-line risk challenge. Partners with business units and senior stakeholders to improve risk methodologies, governance, reporting, risk culture, and identification of emerging risks.

Handle and resolve customer complaints and dissatisfaction for transfer agency clients, ensuring accurate, timely resolutions within service levels and financial-services regulations. Serve as a technical referral point, support case resource management, maintain complaint procedures, identify breaches and incidents, and provide feedback, coaching, and mentoring to colleagues. Collaborate with operational, compliance, leadership, client, and shareholder teams while contributing to service excellence.
