Ensures production goals, customer specifications, regulatory compliance, and departmental objectives are met. Records operational data, monitors performance metrics, supports cross-training, identifies waste and quality improvements, and works with supervisors and other departments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Hangs live chickens securely onto moving shackles on a production line, operates a hydraulic control bar, follows animal welfare and safety regulations, and wears required PPE. The role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 60 pounds, working in hot, wet, dusty environments, and performing frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and crawling. Hatchery or poultry industry experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Supervises poultry production operations and up to 100 employees while ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, OSHA, USDA, and company standards. Manages staffing, production schedules, reporting, process improvements, quality, safety, employee training, performance management, and cross-department coordination. Requires flexibility for extended shifts and work in noisy, wet, hot, cold, dusty, and odor-heavy processing environments.
