Teams at Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency

Assists with agency and grant budget preparation, forecasting, fiscal tracking, expenditure reporting, budget amendments, and compliance monitoring. Reviews payroll and staff allocations against grant budgets, tracks in-kind and matching funds, analyzes fringe and pool costs, and supports grant submissions. Provides budget-to-actual analysis and technical assistance to program teams while ensuring adherence to funder policies, Federal Uniform Guidance, and internal procedures.

Manages financial data and grant contracts, including budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, journal entries, financial and programmatic reporting, compliance monitoring, audits, funder submissions, and closeouts. Collaborates with accounting and program staff, prepares budget amendments and funding responses, tracks expenditures and outcomes, supports purchasing and asset inventories, and provides fiscal training. Requires nonprofit accounting experience involving government-funded grants and travel to program sites.
