Teams at Wave Mobile Money

Investigate fraud cases, monitor suspicious transactions, assess fraud risks, analyze fraud data, maintain dashboards, support reporting and training, and collaborate with agents, legal teams, authorities, and business stakeholders to protect customers and financial operations.

Own day-to-day operations for Wave’s financial services products, including merchant advances, insurance, lending, and savings. Coordinate internal teams and external partners, triage and escalate issues, monitor SLAs, identify recurring problems, analyze data for lending risks, and support collections or merchant engagement. Manage partner payments, invoicing, revenue reconciliation, and project support for new product launches. The role is office-based in Senegal with potential travel to field locations.

Leads Wave’s global marketing function across payments and growth, developing brand and go-to-market strategies, managing internal teams and external partners, optimizing customer acquisition costs and budgets, and ensuring consistent communications across markets. The role oversees multi-channel campaigns, including offline media, social content, influencers, PR coordination, partnerships, and marketing performance measurement across Africa.
