The Senior Fiscal Specialist supports the Treasurer’s Office through accounting, property tax collection, financial reporting, account reconciliation, cash management, customer service, and statutory reporting. Responsibilities include reviewing financial activity, identifying discrepancies, maintaining tax and lottery credit records, supporting foreclosure and unclaimed funds processes, and learning Wisconsin treasury requirements. The role requires collaboration, accuracy, strong communication, and finance or accounting experience, with opportunities for professional development.

Provides correctional supervision in a maximum-security, 481-bed county jail housing pretrial and sentenced offenders. Responsibilities include maintaining safety and security, monitoring inmates, supporting release and treatment programs, and performing essential physical and mental job functions. Requires a high school diploma or GED, one year of post-high-school work experience or equivalent education/training, a valid driver’s license, and successful completion of a background investigation.

Determines eligibility for FoodShare, Medical Assistance, BadgerCare, Child Care, and other public assistance programs. Assists clients in a multi-county call center by providing accurate information, delivering strong customer service, documenting casework, and corresponding with members. The position is funded for an initial two-year term, with continuation dependent on future funding and approval.
