Lead WEBTOON's U.S. and global brand strategy as part of the Global Brand Task Force. Develop positioning, messaging, and multi-channel campaigns (digital, OOH, experiential, partnerships, influencers). Manage budgets, agencies, and creative collaboration. Build measurement frameworks, report on brand and platform impact, and create scalable playbooks to drive user growth.

Leads international tax matters for WEBTOON’s multinational entities in the U.S., Korea, Japan, and Canada. Advises on U.S. international tax rules, OECD Pillar Two, transfer pricing, cross-border transactions, tax treaties, withholding taxes, compliance, planning, audits, and tax reporting. Partners with Finance, Legal, FP&A, Big Four firms, and law firms while monitoring global tax law changes and supporting intercompany transaction structures.

Leads Wattpad’s Platform Engineering team, overseeing backend platforms supporting social, notifications, subscriptions, and coin economy features. Responsibilities include managing and mentoring engineers, setting technical direction and roadmaps, guiding architecture and code quality, coordinating project resources, collaborating with Product and business stakeholders, supporting hiring, and managing team performance and development. The role requires significant backend distributed-systems expertise and hands-on experience with APIs, application design, Unix platforms, and compiled programming languages.
